Description
Pair of broad rigid gold bracelets given to the Moroccan Jewish bride, an essential part of the dowry and trousseau. Decorated with polychrome enamel or stones, they proclaimed the family's wealth and were the wife's own property. Worn in pairs, they accompanied the other ornaments of the grand costume.
