Description
Printed broadside for the new mother's room, combining protective verses, angelic names and the verse 'a fruitful son is Joseph' held to ward off the evil eye. Framed and hung until the circumcision, it belongs to the same tradition as the Ashkenazi kimpetbrivl but in widely circulated typographic form.
