Description

Crown topping the staves of the Torah scroll, symbol of the Law's royalty. Ashkenazi silversmiths of Poland built it in several tiers of pierced fleurons, stags and lions, surmounted by a closed crown and hung with bells ringing during processions. A dedicatory inscription runs along the lower band.
