Description
Wall-mounted charity box of lithographed tinplate, common in Ashkenazi homes, emptied periodically by the society's collector. The coloured label names the cause supported — the Holy Land, a yeshiva or the Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess fund. A modest yet central object of mitzvah life.
