Description
Cylindrical case turned from Holy Land olivewood, carved with floral motifs, the skyline of Jerusalem or engraved verses. Made by the craftsmen of Jerusalem and Bethlehem for pilgrims and the souvenir trade, it housed the Scroll of Esther read at Purim and joined devotion with local craft.
