Description
Mezuzah case of faience glazed in turquoise and cobalt blue, decorated with the floral scrolls typical of Persian tilework. The letter shin is drawn in slip. More fragile than metal, this domestic type reflects the ceramic art of the Isfahan and Shiraz communities.
