Description
Large dish of tinned copper, surface-engraved with medallions, fine scrollwork and bands of Hebrew inscription in the Persian metalworking style. The center carries the order of the Seder or a star, the rim the names of the symbolic foods. From the communities of Isfahan and Shiraz, it served as the central tray at Passover.
