Alsatian engraved-brass Seder plate

Circular brass plate engraved with the order of the Seder, with a scene of the Exodus or the paschal lamb at the center. The rim carries Hebrew inscriptions and a decorative frieze. From Alsatian workshops, it attests to rural Rhenish Judaism where brass replaced costly silverware on the Passover table.
