Description
Crown topping the rigid case (tik) or the staves of the Torah scroll in Maghrebi communities. North African Jewish silversmiths worked it in repoussé and filigree, in several pierced tiers decorated with floral motifs and crescents, sometimes hung with drops and bells. A Hebrew dedication occasionally runs along the band.
