Enrich the Great Bookנרתיק מגילה מכסף עם דמויות מהמסורת האיטלקית
Description
Wrought case of repoussé and chased silver, sometimes adorned with figures in the round, topped by a finial and a crank to unroll the Megillah. The decoration spreads putti, vases, flowers and scenes from the story of Esther. A ceremonial piece of well-off Italian families, it joins the silversmith's art with the Purim reading.
