Description
Wall lamp of cut brass with eight spouts and a shamash, topped by an openwork pediment of flowers, crescents and stars, sometimes a hamsa hand. Workshops in Tunis and Djerba worked the brass in repoussé and piercing. Hung by a ring, it reflects the Judeo-Tunisian aesthetic blending Ottoman and local influences.
