Nagykálló est une ville du nord-est de la Hongrie (comitat de Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg), connue dans le monde juif comme siège de la cour du tsadik Isaïe Taub de Kaliv (1744–1828), fondateur du hassidisme hongrois. Isaïe Taub est célèbre pour avoir intégré la musique folklorique magyare dans la tradition hassidique, créant un courant original qui perdure jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
