The ghetto, where the Jews of the entire region had been crammed, is liquidated by successive shootings in a nearby forest; a few families survive hidden in farms and in the hills until the arrival of the Red Army.
在 Sambir，犹太人口早已被关押在一片严重过度拥挤的封闭区域之中，饥饿与疫病已造成大量死亡。全年之中，清洗行动分阶段推进，方式包括在附近森林中处决以及组织车队押送。邻近劳工营的最后一批工人于春季被枪杀；这座曾拥有该省规模最大的犹太社区之一的城市，就此被宣布"清空"。
