Stèle de Tel Dan — Première mention extra-biblique de la « Maison de David »

Tel Dan 石碑由考古学家 Avraham Biran 在 1993-1994 年发现于古城 Dan（以色列北部）的发掘中，是圣经历史上最重要的考古发现之一。这份古阿拉姆语铭文被认为是出自 Aram-Damas 国王 Hazaël，纪念了他对以色列国王和「David 家族」（bytdwd）国王的胜利——构成了圣经外关于大卫王朝的首次提及。这一发现结束了关于国王 David 历史性的争论，某些「极简主义」圣经学家曾将其视为纯粹的传奇人物。该铭文还提及了 Aram 与以色列和犹大王国之间的战争，与《列王纪下》8-10 的叙述相符。
