Conseil des communautés israélites du Maroc (CCIM)

Official representative body of Jewish communities in Morocco, the Council of Israeli Communities of Morocco (CCIM) is the institutional heir to the communal structures that managed Jewish life under the Protectorate. It oversees still-active synagogues, Jewish cemeteries, schools of the Alliance Israélite Universelle remaining in Morocco and the Jewish Museum of Casablanca. The CCIM maintains official relations with the Moroccan Royal Palace within the framework of Morocco's policy for the preservation of Hebrew heritage. It coordinates annual pilgrimages to holy sites (hiloula) that attract tens of thousands of Jews of Moroccan origin each year.
