Ahimaaz ben Paltiel

Poète liturgique et auteur d'une chronique familiale, il naît en 1017 à Capoue, en Italie, et meurt vers 1060 à Oria. Il compile le « Sefer Yuḥasin » (Livre des généalogies), source précieuse sur les premiers établissements juifs des villes d'Italie du Sud — Oria, Bari, Otrante, Gaète, Bénévent, Capoue et Amalfi — dans une prose rimée hébraïque qui influencera Juda al-Harizi et Emmanuel de Rome.
