Elliott Yamin

American singer, third-place finalist on American Idol season 5 (2006). Son of Shaul Yamin, an Israeli of Iraqi Jewish descent, and an Ashkenazi Jewish American mother; his 2007 self-titled debut album reached No. 1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart.
