Rabbi Yom Tov Lippa Landa, Chief Rabbi of Galatz, son of Rabbi Yosef Landa, author of "Berkat Yosef", 5511-5574, student of Rabbi Levi Yitzhak of Berditchev, Rabbi Israel of Rozhin, Rabbi Baruch of Mezhbizh and the rabbi of Apta, was Chief Rabbi of Yassy from 5594.
Rabbi Ḥayyim Seta'hon (5591-5638). Rabbi of Safed, author of "Eretz Ḥayyim", son of Rabbi Menashe Seta'hon, rabbi of Aram Zubah and Safed.
The author: Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Kara, Chief Rabbi of Botschatsh and one of the great scholars of his generation (5460-5574, Treasury of Rabbis 17447), father-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Abraham David Vacherman, the rabbi of Botschatsh, author of "Berkat David", "Eshel Abraham" and "Daʻat Kedoshim", who brings in his books many novelties from his great father-in-law.
