Town in the Radom district whose Jews, joined by those from neighboring villages, are taken in autumn toward Treblinka.
Zwoleń, a small town between Radom and the Vistula, had an artisan community established around the market. The occupiers gathered the Jews of the town and surrounding hamlets into a quarter that was initially open, then sealed, where food was scarce. In the autumn, the liquidation operation assembled the population; those unable to walk were killed on the spot, while the others were marched on foot to the Garbatka station and then transported to Treblinka. The quarter was subsequently demolished and its materials used elsewhere. The community of Zwoleń vanished in a single day.
