Description

Silver tetradrachms of the Second Revolt depicting the façade of the Temple of Jerusalem surmounted by a star, struck on overstruck Roman coins. The reverse often shows the lulav and the etrog.

Significance

It expresses the hope for the restoration of the Temple at the heart of the ideology of the Bar Kokhba revolt.
