Description

Bronzes from the final year of the Great Revolt bearing the lulav, the etrog, and the chalice, accompanied by the inscription "For the redemption of Zion." They were struck during the siege of Jerusalem.

Significance

They testify to the messianic fervor of the rebels on the eve of the destruction of the Temple.
