Pamplona (Pamplune), capital of the kingdom of Navarre, sheltered an important medieval Jewish community in a distinct quarter from the eleventh century onward. Documented in Navarrese royal sources, the community fell victim to the massacres of 1328 and was definitively expelled during the expulsions from Navarre in 1498.

The days of this book

This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Pamplune (Pamplona) give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.
