Galician rabbi of the early nineteenth century, first serving in Podhajce then in Brody, contemporary of Éphraïm Zalman Margaliot, chief rabbi of Brody, whose « Bet Efrayim » cites one of his responsa. He is the author of the « Leb Arych » (Lemberg, 1820), a commentary on the tractate Ḥullin.
