Born December 15, 1891 in Amdur (Grodno district), died May 22, 1980 in Buenos Aires. He devoted his entire life to Yiddish literature and press, publishing in numerous newspapers and magazines. After the Shoah he presided in Paris (1948–1952) the union of survivor writers, then was vice-president of the Union of Yiddish Writers of Buenos Aires.
