Talmudiste et auteur espagnol né à Barcelone au début du quatorzième siècle, mort à Narbonne en octobre 1393. Poète religieux et chef de la communauté juive de Gérone, en Catalogne, il fut loué pour sa profonde science talmudique autant que pour son désintéressement dans l'exercice de ses fonctions ; il quitta probablement Gérone lors de la terrible persécution de 1391 pour s'établir à Narbonne. Un poème pour l'office de Pessa'h et quatre lamentations poétiques de sa main sont conservés en manuscrit. En 1394, Profiat Duran rédigea une notice nécrologique à sa mémoire, imprimée dans le « Maassé Efod » (Vienne, 1865).
