Talmudiste et critique, descendant direct de Zerahiah ha-Lévi et probablement comme lui originaire de Gérone, en Espagne, actif à la fin du XIIIe siècle et mort avant 1303 ; élève de Nahmanide à Gérone, il fut rabbin à Saragosse en 1285. Auteur de commentaires talmudiques et des « Peḳudat ha-Lewiyim » sur les Halakhot d'Alfasi, il doit surtout sa réputation au « Bedeḳ ha-Bayit », critique du « Torat ha-Bayit » de son adversaire Salomon ben Adret.
