Bou Izakarn, bourg de l'Anti-Atlas méridional (province de Guelmim), accueillit des artisans et négociants juifs participant aux circuits commerciaux transsahariens reliant le Souss à la Mauritanie et au Mali. Ces familles émigrèrent vers les villes du nord et vers Israël au cours du XXe siècle.
