What you do there
A family space is not a book: it's the workshop before. You deposit what you're not yet sure about, what you want first to show your own, what awaits a name or a date. Three gestures, all among members of the lineage.
The calendar
Reunions, hilloula, commemoration: the dates that gather the lineage, held in one place rather than in ten conversations.
The discussion
The thread of the family: a question about an ancestor, a correction, a memory that returns. It is often here that a page of the Great Book is born.
The rule of the space
It is private. Only members attached to the lineage enter it. These pages are neither public nor indexed by search engines, and files deposited live in a closed repository, served by signed links of limited duration.
Nothing leaves it of its own accord. No photo, no message reaches the Great Book automatically. It takes an explicit gesture — « Propose to the Great Book » — then a review. Without that, the memory stays among you.
What you deposit remains yours. You can withdraw at any time what you have deposited; the coordinator of the lineage watches over the space and can also withdraw what does not belong there.

A space lives only if someone holds it
The coordinator of a lineage opens the space, invites cousins, watches over the album and carries memories to the Great Book. A lineage without a coordinator remains a page that awaits.
