Attribué par la tradition au patriarche Abraham, le Sefer Yetzirah est le plus ancien texte connu de la mystique juive. Il décrit la création de l'univers par les 22 lettres de l'alphabet hébreu et les 10 sefirot. Texte court mais d'une densité conceptuelle extrême, il a nourri la méditation et la théurgie kabbalistique pendant des siècles.
