الوصف
Sheath braided from palm or rush leaves, intended to hold together the lulav, branches of willow and myrtle for the festival of Sukkot. The checkered or spiral braiding is done by hand in Maghrebi communities. Light and renewable each year, this humble object structures the bouquet of the four species.
