Birth Amulet "Adam Hava Lilith" from the East

Amulet protecting the parturient and newborn against Lilith, accused of threatening infants. The text invokes the angels Sanvi, Sansanvi and Semangelof and bears the names of Adam and Eve; some examples depict Lilith chained. Hung above the cradle or on the wall of the lying-in chamber, it remained in place until the end of the period deemed dangerous.
