Port de Sicile occidentale, Marsala (antique Lilybaion) a abrité une communauté juive documentée sous la domination normande et aragonaise (Xe–XVe siècles). Comme l'ensemble des Juifs de Sicile, la communauté fut expulsée en 1492.
