Rabbin et chercheur originaire de la communauté de Debdou (nord-est du Maroc), installé en Israël, auteur de plusieurs ouvrages sur l'histoire des Juifs marocains : « Ir ha-Cohanim / Debdou ville de Cohanim » (2000), « Bné Melakhim » (histoire de l'imprimerie et du livre hébraïques au Maroc, 1516 à nos jours), « Yahas Debdou hadach », etc.
