Ben Sira (Jésus fils de Sirach)

Sage of Jerusalem, author of the Book of Ben Sira (Ecclesiasticus), a collection of wisdom composed in Hebrew around 180 BCE. Although excluded from the Jewish canon, Hebrew fragments were discovered in the Cairo Genizah and at Qumran, attesting to its importance in Second Temple Judaism.
