Fédération fondée en 1925 lors du congrès international des Juifs séfarades tenu à Vienne, avec siège à Jérusalem et premier président Moshe Pichotto. Elle vise à représenter les communautés séfarades et orientales à travers le monde, accordant bourses et aides et coopérant avec l'Université hébraïque pour l'institut Misgav Yerushalayim de recherche sur le patrimoine séfarade et oriental.
