Israeli sculptor and painter, creator of the Yad Vashem Yizkor (Tent of Remembrance) Gate and the bronze gates of the Knesset, killed in a motor-scooter accident on Mount Zion in 1966; an eponymous museum in his former Jerusalem studio preserves his work.
