Description

She’elot u-Teshuvot ha-Rashbash — Responsa of Shlomo ben Shimon Duran (Rashbash, 1400-1467), son of the Rashbatz and his successor at the head of the Algiers rabbinate. The collection continues the paternal work of halakhic codification for the Maghrebi communities of the first half of the fifteenth century (matrimonial law, commerce, relations with non-Jewish authorities under Hafsid then Ottoman Algeria).
