Description

Paduan collection bringing together three authors: Avraham Jagel (1553–1623), Italian philosopher and physician; Avicenna (Ibn Sīnā, 980–1037), via medieval Hebrew translation; Levi ben Gershom (Ralbag, 1288–1344), Provençal philosopher and exegete. According to a study by Meir Benayahu, the manuscript also contains kabbalistic material by the Ramhal — Moshe Ḥayyim Luzzatto (1707–1747). It is one of the pieces where the Reggio ↔ Ramhal circle connection is documented.
