On the title page, ownership inscription and prayer in the signature of Rabbi "Mesuod Amaslem". In the margins of the books, dozens of long handwritten annotations by him, some signed with the pseudonym "HaMamitzs" [The young Mesuod Amaslem may our Creator preserve him]. Rabbi Mesuod ben Joseph Amaslem, the rabbi HaMamitzs – one of the scholars of the West in the late 1500s [early nineteenth century]. [1], 156, [1] page; [2], 42 page. 19.5 cm.
