כת"י שו"ת מבעל ה"צמח צדק"

Manuscript of responsa on halakha, by the Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch, author of the Tzemach Tzedek. [19th century]. The manuscript contains two lengthy halakhic responsa, the first of which was printed in Tzemach Tzedek, Yoreh Deah, section 214. [The handwriting is similar to that of the Tzemach Tzedek, but it appears to be the handwriting of an early scribe who copied from the original responsum]. The second responsum [in a different manuscript], a lengthy responsum (26 pages, and incomplete at the end) concerning blood found in milk. We have not found this responsum in the printed book, but in Tzemach Tzedek Yoreh Deah section 54, a passage from a brief responsum on this matter appears. 54 written pages. (Page numbering 199–242, excerpt from the notebook "Bikhel"). Approx. 23 cm. Good to fair condition, stains and rust stains. Non-original binding.
