Manuscript, Sefer Zivḥei Shelomim, on the laws of ritual slaughter. [Eastern Countries – Bukhara or Persia, 18th century]. Copy of the Constantinople edition תפ"ח 1728. Decorated title page. On the last page a (erased) colophon of the scribe "Moshe be-Rabbi Mordekhai Mizrahi" [on the title page a colophon of the first scribe named "Sheva Ha"]. Scholarly glosses in the margins; on leaf 36/2 the scribe of the glosses writes: "A case that came to my attention, I the youngest M. Shelomo Ḥai son of H. Nissim who was sheva brachot, and I slaughtered a cow and examined it and checked it... and we prohibited it. This case occurred in the year תרנ"ד according to the common calendar". [1] 59 leaves. 15 cm. condition: fair, wear damage and moisture stains.
