Manuscript, hand of a scribe. [Meknes, early 20th century]. Rulings and practices concerning matters of ritual slaughter from Rabbi Solomon son of Daniel Berdogo (5614-5666, scholar of authorities), rabbi and chief judge in Meknes. At the end of the manuscript the copyist signed his name: "May the Lord merit me to write the indexes with God's help, may I be worthy, the rabbis of Meknes, may their memory be blessed, Solomon, son of Hadahan, may he be remembered." [Apparently one of the students of Rabbi Solomon Berdogo]. [62] written pages. 30 cm. Good condition, stains, ink fading in several places. New binding.
