Peacock Chanukah Lamp – Austro-Hungary

Austrian peacock Chanukah Lamp. [Austro-Hungary? 19th century?]. Silver-plate tin-brass (stamped w.n.f. 1124). Base for cornets in front of a panel with sawing and hammering work of a decorative gate, topped with a Torah crown and flanked by a pair of lions. Behind the row of cornets stands a silver peacock whose feathers rise and complete the panel. On the side is a model of a bird on a swing and a jug (removable). Height: 28 cm. Width: 28 cm. The Torah crown is broken and has been restored by welding.
