"שיויתי" גדול מצויר ביד – ירושלים, 1927

שויתי ה' לנגדי תמיד. Jerusalem, תרפ"ז [1927]. Ink and paint on paper. "שיויתי" in large format, written, drawn and painted by hand, made by "Sinor ben ha-Rav Reuben nʻe, in honor of the esteemed Sage Jonathan ha-Yiḥye ben ha-Rav Sage Joseph zʻl". Various decorations in geometric and botanical patterns, circles with Shields of David and the word "Zion", interspersed with various texts: "Ben Perat Joseph, Ben Perat Eli Ayin...", the Ten Commandments (appearing twice at the top of the "Shiviti"), a large candlestick "lam-Natzaach", Psalm 24 (presented in full), and more. Based on the design of the verse "And I, through the abundance of Your loving-kindness, will enter Your house; I will bow down toward Your holy temple in fear of You" and other verses and based on white color markers, it appears that the preparation of the "Shiviti" was not entirely completed. 75X59 cm. Condition fair-poor. Many wrinkles, stains and tears. A rectangular piece missing in the lower part.
