Megillat Esther, deluxe edition, bound uniquely as a letter in a book. In particularly beautiful handwriting. Uniform, legible and clear script. Form of letters according to the view of the Ari (Hasidic), in the style of ancient script [appropriate to Russia-Poland, 19th century], according to the level of writing and parchment processing of the megillah, it appears to have been made to special commission, and with great precision according to the rules of Halakhot and customs. This megillah was written according to law and procedure on a parchment scroll, and bound after writing in the manner of folding the pages as a letter, and binding them as a book in a parchment cover. 13 cm, length of parchment c. 165 cm, (with blank page at beginning and end), 12 pages, 27 lines. Good condition, slightly faded (most of the ink remains black), light stains. Antique parchment cover.
