אונטער די פליגעל פון טויט, Abraham Zak, with 12 images by Yankl Adler. "Di Tsayt" Publishers, Warsaw, 1923. Abraham Zak (1891-1980) – Jewish writer who lived in Poland between the two world wars. In this novel, Zak describes in fictionalized form his personal story, by creating the figure of a Jewish soldier forced to go to the front in the First World War. The book is illustrated with a dozen reproductions of Yankl Adler's paintings in the expressionist style of the "Yung Yidish" group graphics, of which the artist was a member. 225 pages, 22.5 cm. Moderate condition. Pages slightly torn at the edges. Loose and torn cover. Tear in the drawing on the jacket.
