Ḥomer ha-Dat he-Attik (1844) is an abridgment of the Shefa Tal — the kabbalistic treatise of Rabbi Shabbetai Sheftel Horowitz — prepared by Rabbi Abraham Ankawa to make its material accessible. It attests to Ankawa's interest in kabbalistic thought, also found in his prayer book.
