Italian Talmudist of the 13th century established in Rome, trained in part in Germany (pupil of Jacob de Wurtzbourg, perhaps also of Meir de Rothenburg). Author of the Shibbolei ha-Leket, considered one of the first attempts to codify Jewish law in Italy (liturgy, Haggada of Passover, laws of festivals and fasts), organized in 13 « rows » and 372 « ears ».
