Create the Great Book with our AIRegion: Tripoli (Libye)
History register · custodian, not owner
Sion Nemni was a notable of the Jewish community of Tripoli: he collected substantial funds to house Jews without resources, and assumed the role of head of the Jewish community of Tripoli during the final years of its presence in Libya (around 1967). He left an unpublished memoir on his experience in Libya, exploited by scholarship (L. Tagliacozzo, Quest / CDEC Journal).
