Simon Lévy, né en 1934 à Fès et mort en 2011 à Rabat, est un linguiste et universitaire, professeur à Rabat, longtemps militant du Parti communiste marocain puis du PPS. Fondateur et secrétaire général de la Fondation du patrimoine culturel judéo-marocain, il crée en 1997 à Casablanca le Musée du judaïsme marocain, seul musée juif du monde arabe. Toute son œuvre aura été vouée à la préservation de la mémoire collective et à un Maroc pluriel.
